Quicktime for Linux

Hi all,
Is there such a thing as quicktime for Linux. On the Apple site there is

some mention, but I cannot find it. Has anybody used it and where do I
get it from, if it exists?

Else how do I play video clips from sites that require Quicktime
installed??

Look for a program called 'xanim' for starters. Another
app which _might_ have quicktime support is 'xmms'.
