Xfree and mystique 220

I need help, i've a 4.1 redhat linux installed, the last 3.3.1 Xfree
installed, and i run X86Config to choose my card all is ok.
But when i try to run X i only get a black screen.
I've tried all the thing i can nothing to do, even trying to hand change the
x86config file...nothing
So i any1 have an idea or a config to send me thanx

I'm still a bit inexperienced at Linux/X, but I had the same problem - check
your monitor refresh rates and settings you have specified, because it
produces
that effect when they are invalid. If you have more than one mode configured
as possible, use Ctrl-Alt-"+" or "-" to switch, and see if it works on any of
them.
