Hi,
I hope some one will help me to figure this out.

I have two machines one with Ubuntu and other with Windows vista. On
both i have installed openvpn. When I connecting to the vpn using
my .ovpn file, Ubuntu automatically add the routing for the vpn but on
Vista I have to manually add the routing.

Is there any way that i can automate this route-add to vista routing
table. I tried it with the conf file but there is no place to do such
modification.

Please can anyone help me.....

Many thanks in advance...

I haven't used OpenVPN for a while, but it seems to me that there are
configuration values on the OpenVPN "server" side that allow the
server to "push" out routing table changes. Look for the "push"
option. On my (now decommissioned) OpenVPN server, I pushed out a
route to my LAN with
push "route 192.169.200.0 255.255.255.0"

Hi Pitcher,

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I already have the PUSH with my VPN server. Hence any of my
linux boxes have no issue of routing since it automatically added the
routing to the table.
Only problem is Vista (now including XP too) is not getting the
automatic routing. I cannot find any other solution than adding them
manually which is a headache.

Please someone help me on this....

thanks
