Hi There!
I'm new to this newsgroup so if this question should be posted elswhere
please let me know. Anyway, I've been trying to install linux mandrake 6.1
by FTP. The setup utility finds the DHCP server correctly, but when I put
in an ftp site to get the rest of the installation from, the following error
pops up: Unable to retrieve the second stage ramdisk: Bad Server Response.
I'm using the following ftp site (this is how I entered it in the setup)
ftp site name: ftp.cc.gatech.edu
Mandrake directory: /pub/linux/distributions/mandrake/6.1/Mandrake (I've
also tried without the /Mandrake)

Oh yeah, when it asks for the host name for my computer does it matter if I
leave the default (.resnet.ucla.edu), or should I just enter the computer
name I'm using in windows before the .resnet.ucla.edu.

Thanks for your time!
