Nope, sounds like a fair evaluation for someone looking for a home
desktop replacement. Was it funded by MS because the criteria predicts
the outcome.

I use RH9 on a daily bases at home and from work where I connect to my
home computer using TightVNC across ssh. Can't do that in windows
without heavy web research since windows don't have the same type of
login system.

I think Linux is still a server OS, but boy can it serve.
