ndisc6 doesn't recognize IPv6 router anycast neighbor advertisement

Hello,
can anybody here test at home/work if ndisc6 recognizes the ICMPv6
neighbor advertisement for a subnet router anycast address?
That is the first address in a subnet, e.g. for 2001:db8:1234:456::/64
it is 2001:db8:1234:456::.
ndisc6 2001:db8:1234:456:: eth0
ndisc6 fe80:: enp6s1
fe80:: should work with any router that has IPv6 enabled.
At my side (Cisco router), ndisc6 shows a timeout, but can recognize
normal neighbor advertisements to unicast addresses.
My router sends the neighbor advertisement for the router subnet
anycast address, I verified that with Wireshark.
