Hi I have searched around the net to see if there was any support on
linux
for the cisco air-cb20a pcmcia wireless LAN client adapter card. But I
could only find info for the Aironet 340 and 350 models. So perhaps I
am the first to ask this question on the newsgroups: is anyone working
on a driver for this new card?

For some reason the company I am working for has decided to
standardise its networking on this one card. So I don't have much
choice. (Or do I?)

Here is some further information about it:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps4555/products_data_sheet09186a00800c61ea.html

Thanks,

Henry

The cisco air-cb20a is an 802.11a-compliant CardBus adapter. My
feeling is that I will have to go out and buy another 802.11a
compliant pcmcia card that is supported. I have found the madwifi
group that is making a driver for such devices:

http://madwifiwiki.thewebhost.de/wiki/FrontPage

Does anyone have any good experience with a card that is 802.11a
compliant on linux?

Thanks,

Henry
