Redhat 6.0 will not detect NICs

After installation of 6.0, and having 2 NICs (SMC Ultras) on my system,
Redahat did not detect during autoprobe. How do I install the drivers
for these cards? Do I now need to reconfig the kernel?

I had that same problem with a NE2000 card. Turns out I had to disable PnP
for the cards irq in the BIOS. I suggest you read the Ethernet HowTo
(www.linux.org - support). There is a chance your card is listed in there as
well.
