icq compatible server for linux

Does anybody know of a icq compatible server for linux that **WORKS**?

There is some work under way for a server that will be called impd (if i
remember that corret).
It will support all ICQ protocols that exist until today and additionally I
will also support AOL Instant Messenger and several other Messengersystems.
These different systems will even be able to communicate with each other
over this server.
Unfortunately it is not finished yet, but will be so in about 2 months or
something like that.
Maybe there's somebody arround with more info than me.
