Question is: Do I need to set the default logfile elsewhere? Or maybe a
Webalizer -option? Didn't see it in the man pages and nothing on google.
Also - Has anyone else used webalyzer with squid logs ( it seems to be
geared more towards web analysis - not squid access logs) ?
Can I do what I want ( report who went where and when on the internet ) with
a bash script? Hmmmm....
Thanks

I'm using webalizer with Squid. I'm not sure why setting it in
webalizer.conf wouldn't work, but you can pass the location of the log file
on the command line. E.g.:
webalizer /var/log/squid.log
or whatever.
One thing I found I had to do was write a little awk script to change where
squid puts the authenticated name of the user. Don't have it handy any
more, though. :-(
