Having been running an old kernel (0.99pl9, I think - out of SLS 1.02)
for nearly a year now without any problems I was already impressed by
the general stability of Linux. However, my 'impressedness' went up
the other day when 4MB of the 8MB in my machine spontaneously decided
it wanted a holiday - the machine rebooted, and up came Linux again, X
and all, running in 4MB + swap, slower but fully functional!
Now that's what I call a stable system!
