Hi All,

I have a qemu-kvm virtual Windows 7 machine that need a
driver for its USB3 xHCI USB 3.0 controller

PCI\VEN_1033&DEV_0194&SUBSYS_11001AF4&REV_03
Generic USB xHCI Host Controller

<controller type="usb" index="0" model="qemu-xhci" ports="15">
<address type="pci" domain="0x0000" bus="0x00" slot="0x05"
function="0x0"/>
</controller>

And according to this blog:

USB recommendations for qemu:
https://www.kraxel.org/blog/2018/08/qemu-usb-tips/

Any recent operating system should support xhci
out-of-the box. The only OS without xhci support
which is still in widespread use is Windows 7.

I may be screwed.

Any of you guys know where I can get this driver?

Many thanks,
-T

The qemu-kvm USB2 configuration finds flash drives
in Windows 7, but complains about them and won't
mount them. I can only see flash drives if I mount
them as a device.

Found the nec-xhci driver for Windows 7:

model="nec-xhci"

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=36x7d

But it still steels my drive. I will open a bug report
on it at Fedora's bugzilla

Why would Fedora be interested in a buggy driver for Windows?
