Religions are - or were - an instrument to stabilise societies and allow
civilisation to happen, which requires an element of self sacrifice and
adherence to cultural norms. It is important that e.g. everyone drives
on the same side of the road, in cities. Out in the boonies - who cares?

Religion is just a way to ensure that people too stupid to understand
this, obey the rules. Fortunately they were also stupid enough to
believe the mumbo jumbo that priests told them.

Otherwise you get what Marxism is all about - total societal breakdown
and a return to the ethics of a hunter gatherer society, where no one
owns anything, everything is 'organic', and everybody is equal, and
Nature itself does all the 'oppression'...
... and infant mortality and death in childbirth is around 50%, and the
population is limited to about 0.1% of current levels. And life
expectancy doesn't exceed 30.

Today they are still stupid, but instead of Priests they listen to faux
scientists and other 'experts' who tell them that burning coal makes the
world too hot to live in, that they can be whatever sex they choose just
by believing it, and their opinion is as important as someone who has
spent years studying something's actual real knowledge is.

And that windmills will generate electricity even when the wind doesnt
blow.

Renewable energy and the Greens will kill more people than climate
change ever could.

Bullshit: Churches are sects and criminal organizations mafia-style
protected by the government. And almost all the rapes and psychological
abuses happen in these religious communities.

And the US in particular are a totalitarian and backward-looking

Let's start with the Russian communist party:-

1/. The Holodomor is the name given to genocide by famine that lasted
from 1932 to 1933 in Ukraine. Approximately, 10 million Ukrainians were
the victims of an artificial famine during the Stalinist regime, when
25,000 people died per day at the height of the famine.

2/. Between the early 1930s and his death in 1953, Joseph Stalin had
more than a million of his own citizens executed. Millions more fell
victim to forced labor, deportation, famine, bloody massacres, and
detention and interrogation by Stalin’s henchmen.

3/. As Allied troops entered and occupied German territory during the
later stages of World War II, mass rapes of women took place both in
connection with combat operations and during the subsequent occupation
of Germany. Scholars agree that the majority of the rapes were committed
by *Soviet* occupation troops. The wartime rapes were followed by
decades of silence.

Moving on to the Chinese communist party

1/. Chinese land reform 1949–1953 1 – 4.7 million. Launched by Mao
Zedong and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Liquidation of the
landlord class in struggle sessions.

2/. Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries 1950–1953 712,000 – 2
million.Launched by Mao Zedong and CCP.

3/. Violence in the Great Chinese Famine 1959–1961 2.5 million killings
occurred during the Great Chinese Famine. According to Frank Dikötter,
at least 2.5 million (2–3 million) people were beaten or tortured to
death, which accounted for 6–8% of the total deaths in the famine.

Those are just the main death events. China has been knocking off the
odd thousand a year since the communists took over.

Now for more third world nassacres.

1/. The Khmer Rouge (lit. 'Red Khmer') is the name that was popularly
given to members of the Communist Party of Kampuchea (CPK) and by
extension to the regime through which the CPK ruled Cambodia between
1975 and 1979. The Cambodian genocide was the systematic persecution and
killing of Cambodian citizens by the Khmer Rouge under the leadership of
Communist Party of Kampuchea general secretary Pol Pot, who radically
pushed Cambodia towards an entirely self-sufficient agrarian socialist
society. It resulted in the deaths of 1.5 to 2 million people from 1975
to 1979, nearly a quarter of Cambodia's population in 1975 (c. 7.8 million).

2/. The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace in Zimbabwe documented
at least 2,000 deaths, and speculated that the actual number could be
8,000 or higher. Locals from the affected regions put the figure between
20,000 and 40,000. Journalist Heidi Holland referred to a death toll of
8,000 as a typical conservative estimate.[19] In February 1983 the
International Red Cross disclosed that 1,200 Ndebele had been murdered
that month alone.[1] In a unanimously adopted resolution in 2005, the
International Association of Genocide Scholars estimated the death toll
at 20,000. ZANU PF was responsible, a Marxist party lead by Robert Mugabe.

3/ Uganda : Idi Amin retaliated against the attempted invasion by
Ugandan exiles in 1972, by purging the Uganda Army of Obote supporters,
predominantly those from the Acholi and Lango ethnic groups. In July
1971, Lango and Acholi soldiers had been massacred in the Jinja and
Mbarara barracks.[43] By early 1972, some 5,000 Acholi and Lango
soldiers, and at least twice as many civilians, had disappeared.The
victims soon came to include members of other ethnic groups, religious
leaders, journalists, artists, senior bureaucrats, judges, lawyers,
students and intellectuals, criminal suspects, and foreign nationals. In
this atmosphere of violence, many other people were killed for criminal
motives or simply at will. Bodies were often dumped into the River Nile.

The killings, motivated by ethnic, political, and financial factors,
continued throughout Amin's eight years in control. The exact number of
people killed is unknown. The International Commission of Jurists
estimated the death toll at no fewer than 80,000 and more likely around
300,000. An estimate compiled by exile organisations with the help of
Amnesty International puts the number killed at 500,000.

I won't claim that one as Marxist. Amin was just a thug. But it had
nothing to do with religion, either.

Africans are the greatest racists in the world. They kill anyone from a
different tribe, or with a different skin color. They used to sell them
as slaves, but the Brits stopped that...

In 1990, the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), a rebel group composed of
nearly 500,000 Tutsi refugees, invaded northern Rwanda from their base
in Uganda, initiating the Rwandan Civil War. The group condemned the
Hutu-dominated government for failing to democratize and confront the
problems facing these refugees. Neither side was able to gain a decisive
advantage in the war,[53] but by 1992 it had weakened Habyarimana's
authority; mass demonstrations forced him into a coalition with the
domestic opposition and eventually to sign the 1993 Arusha Accords with
the RPF. The cease-fire ended on 6 April 1994 when Habyarimana's plane
was shot down near Kigali Airport, killing him.[55] The shooting down of
the plane served as the catalyst for the Rwandan genocide, which began
within a few hours. Over the course of approximately 100 days, between
500,000 and 1,000,000[56] Tutsi and politically moderate Hutu were
killed in well-planned attacks on the orders of the interim government.
Many Twa were also killed, despite not being directly targeted.
