idle process may not sleep

can someone offer some sugestions as to why i get this error when booting
2.0.25 on my a1200 with amiboot.4.0 ??
a1200, dkb cobra with 8 meg on it (NO fpu) and a 340 meg WD..

Get one or use a kernel that contains a fpu emulation.

What kernel?

The standard kernels will not work without an FPU.

I've had this happen aswell on my A1200. I have GVP 030 though.
I recompiled the kernel with no SCSI support (since I can't get the
damn GVP series II scsi to work anyway) and the error never happens.
Before it said 'idle task will never sleep' it said MAJOR BUSERR
Crazy eh? I don't have an answer but I thought I'd better let others know
that it's not an isolated incident. :)

I have tried this and i _still_ get the idle task my not sleep stuff..
heres what im doing -
amiboot -k vmlinux-mathemu-2.0.22-Ami -r Filesys_elf_2.0.22.gz root=/dev/ram

what else could i be doing wrong???
