Hi all,
I have a Sony DCR-TRV 250 Digital 8 camcorder .I'm tryng to connect it
via USB to my PC ( I use redhat 7.3 workstation),I'm searching in
google but I don't know how to do it. Has anyone done this before?

Also I have another question?
Is it possible to use a Camcorder as webcam (using it for example with
VIC or GNOMEMEETING) under linux via USB? If yes which types of
Camccorders do it?

Thanks in advance for your help

These are the modules you might need loaded to use your USB Camcorder with
GNU/Linux in terms of being able to copy the digit video off the camera.
