: Who is doing the Amiga Fast File System (FFS) port for Linux? I've heard
: it should be available in a read-only version now. I'm very interested in
: hearing how the development of the hard part (writing) is going on.
There is one on tsx-11 (read-only). I don't know if writing will ever
be done. The guy only did the other part to transfer files off his
Amiga HD.
I hacked a Linux-486 kernel to read Amiga partition tables (borrowed
the code from the Amiga Linux kernel). But I couldn't test it because
I have absolutly no clue how to hook a WD Tidbit-60 to a normal IDE
card. Also I couldn't get my Floppy controller to read sectors off an
Amiga FFS floppy disk (I configured the drive for 11 sectors, but I
guess the controller still can't find the sectors...).
