Snappy Frame Grabber?

Has anyone started working on a driver for the "Snappy Video Snapshot" from Play
Incorporated (http://www.play.com/) ?

We had to stoop this low, to put a snappy on a client's box in New York:

We were forced to run <GASP!> Windows 95.

We would have been so proud to put a Linux box up there! But we couldn't find anyone
that could write us a driver... I lament that we missed a fantastic opportunity to
put Linux in the hands of a high-profile forward-thinking client :-(

If we had a "better" solution to put live video into a file, and/or stills every
few seconds, we would be happy to do it.

Any and all suggestions are most welcome!
