I just tried to upgrade to gcc-2.7.0 ELF and now when I try to compile
anything I get an error of /usr/bin/gcc Bad address.

I installed gcc-2.6.3 and gcc-2.7.0, libc-4.7.2 and libc-5.0.9,
binutils-2.5.2l.17, libg++-2.6.2.5, and lastly ld.so-1.7.3.

I went back through my linux-1.3.2 .config file and I had told it to compile
for ELF.

I have no clue what to do next. Please any help would be appreciated.

Stew

I believe the problem is in the kernel. The early 1.3.x releases had an ELF
bug that wouldn't allow binaries to be run. Try a different kernel and it
should be okay.
