Yes, I know and have Rubinis book on Linux Device Drivers, and it's great.
I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in the kernel guts.
However, it would also be great if I could type e.g. `man copy_from_user'
and get an online reference.

Have a look to the papers in the 'Documentation' directory from
the kernel-source.
Furthermore in the German-speaking 'Linux-Magazin' there are a serie
called 'Einfuehrung in den Linux-Kernel (1-5)' by Wolfgang Mauerer
