Here is a list of changes. I've tried to put the most important
changes first. Note that the F00F bug is _not_ the most important.
Serious network attack fix. (as bad as the old oversize ping attack)
Filesystem corruption fix. (don't use & free inode at the same time)
Intel Pentium F00F bug workaround.
Fix /proc trouble. (maybe caused an oops)
aic7xxx driver update.
3c59x driver update.
File locking changes. (to prevent deadlock?)
Changes to fork() (memory leak when out of VM?)
Keep 48 (not 24) pages free for emergency (IRQ handler) use.
Stop CPU hogs with a reschedule.
Debugger can support FPU registers.
Timekeeping daemon interface updated.
APM screenblank bug fixed.
Fixed data tables for ulaw audio encoding.
Flush cache and TLB for exec.
Export more symbols for modules. (for ext2 perhaps)
Very small Token Ring driver update.
New vendor joins the list of idiots making PCI NE2000 cards.
Recognize IBM version of fdomain SCSI card.
SCSI CD-ROM fix.
Some RARP changes.
Eliminate ISO C comment style.
