Hello group

I have a problem using growisofs. The function works fine in
interactive mode (e.g. from a console), but when I run it in batch
mode, there is a fatal error that the media already contains data. I
can't format the disk before (this gives problems ejecting the disk -
we will look into that if we have to), but there should be some other
way out of this - I hope! The program will not run as root, so our
options are somewhat limited.
Does anyone have an idea about what to do (perhaps I should have
posted in another group)?

Best regards

I suppose that a lot of that may depend on the media type and IF and
how the media or session was closed. I don't think growisofs was
intended to reopen written optical media, even RW types. Try copying
the existing optical media iso to a file and resizing that, then
rewriting it.
