Free Software : UNESCO Brazil
With the goal of promoting the exchange of experiences in the application of open source software in order to benefit economic and social development, UNESCO and several governmental and non-governmental Brazilian institutions will sponsor LACFREE 2005 - Latin American and Caribbean Conference on the Development and Use of Free Software - in Brazil. The official inauguration of the event and the opening for the presentation of projects was held at the UNESCO Office in Brazil, in Brasilia, on April 27th. The International Conference will be held in the city of Recife from September 28th to October 1st www.unesco.org.br)
