DACS 1.4.35 released - authentication/authorization/single sign-on

DSS is pleased to announce DACS version 1.4.35. DACS, a light-weight single
sign-on and role-based security system for Apache and server-based software,
provides comprehensive authentication capabilities, and powerful, transparent
rule-based authorization checking for any web service or CGI program.
It is distributed under an open source license.

This release primarily addresses some minor bugs, adds secure password
digest algorithms (including the recently adopted SHA-3 family), and
includes platform updates. DACS installations are urged to upgrade.
Suggestions for improvements are welcome.

The next release of DACS is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2015 and
will continue to focus on stability, testing, and improving technical
