Your wet dream! And your 1% market share. You're in the 1%! Not in wealth, but in desktop market share for Linux. Dream on!

Like I've already stated, when the leaders of the Linux / oss movement
behave like idiots or in the case of Richard Stallman are freaks of
nature, it should come as no surprise why Linux attracts freaks,
oddballs, social misfits and idiots looking for companionship and a
like kindred.

Here is Stallman giving a presentation and at the same time eating
fungus from his feet.

What was the whining about? I skimmed through it without audio and just saw some transgender Linux apologist stand up and ask a question about something.

Meanwhile Nvidia dominates the GPU market and supports all relevant operating systems, no wonder 400 people running Linux are mad at them for existing.

Dopez still quoting the old discredited "Linux 1% desktop market share"
crap. Like a broken record.

You're right.
Most people peg Linux desktop market share at less than 1 percent and
dropping every month.

so why should anyone "disprove" something which has no backing in the first

Interesting.
Your Linux advocate buddies like 7, Fibian and others tell an enormous
number of lies on a daily basis and you don't say a single word about
it.

In fact none of you Linux losers say anything about it.
You just let it stand without challenge.

I post a single statement that "might" be misconstrued as a lie and
you go bonkers.

It's a perfect demonstration of what hypocrites the Linux community
are.
Thanks for playing!

The Steam survey shows Linux usage share dropping, as do the results at:

Mar 2015: 2.48%
Mar 2016: 1.76%

Ah, Peter's obsession with my unquotable lies.

What the hell do you even mean by that, Peter? Yeah, you just call them
"lies" but you make it clear you know they are "unquotable" - otherwise you
would quote them (and then actually show they are lies!)

You and your herd rarely even offer a quote, and when you do you offer no
evidence of the quote being dishonest. Just things like my noting I post to
COLA only with the name Snit, which you then deem a lie with NO evidence.

Just weird how scared you and your herd are of me. Just sick.

W3Counter: 1.76%
https://www.w3counter.com/globalstats.php?year=2016&month=3

Statcounter: Not available, Linux isn't even listed. It must be lumped in with 'Other' or 'Unknown'
http://gs.statcounter.com/#desktop-os-ww-monthly-201604-201604-bar

NetMarketshare: 1.78%

Steam: 0.85%

But of course, all of these figures are "wrong" according to Linux apologists. They themselves are utterly incapable of providing any evidence to the contrary however rest assured that all these stats must be "wrong" somehow.

Apparently he runs Linux.

Ah, I see we're back to talking about desktop Linux and aren't off topic anymore.

The 1.8% is a B.S. number. If it was true, the WinTrolls wouldn't be so
obsessed with Linux.

It may be true in certain parts of the world, like backwater US
It is *much* higher in germany or france, for example

Germans leading computer magazine c't published figures last year about the
type of OS accessing their websites. Linux had a 37% share, windows wasn't
that much more. OSX had less than 10%

Now is c't not the typical site everyone and his cat would access, but it
shows that among computer savvy people linux is much more prevalent than the
wintendo idiots like to see

If windows were not pre-installed on 99.999% of wintel machines, windows
would be a niche OS by now, as the vast majority of people don't stand a
snowballs chance in hell to successfully install that crap. Linux is *much*
easier to install, and even most wintendo cretins would be able to use it

More "facts". c't is the second most popular mag, not the leading
magazine as you suggest.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C't

And a search of the web site shows no sign of the report the claim they
published.

If only you had some evidence to back up your made up claim.

<Cue Peter's usual retort where he will now claim it's not his fault he
can't provide evidence to back up his claim, it's the other persons
fault for not being able to search properly.>

Yet whenever Linux is offered as a pre-installed Desktop operating
system, it still fails to sell.

Such a small competitor, yet the monopolists were unable to wipe it
out. Poor Micro$oft. Now they are conceeding defeat in key areas of
the market, and trying to save face by claiming that they "love
Linux".

Bwa. They "love" Linux about as much as "Hadron" did.
