In this episode, the paranoid cracked pots have out done themselves.
Really!
You gotta listen to this one, especially near the end.
Some gems:
Slimeowitz complains about spammers.
Gooblin admits to setting up false accounts with provocative anti
corporate/microsoft/windows names, and then complains about people he
doesn't like, supposed Microsoft "employees", who follow him on twitter.
He reads "deep" into some 5 line email he receives when he asks one of
these people to stop following his account etc.
Wooooowooo that's the black ops people coming to get you Goober.
You over estimate your importance to the Linux community.
Slimeowitz tries to justify his attacking Microsoft, Novell because they
are large companies and says that people from these companies attack him
as a person and the two can't be compared?
Huh????
He seems to forget all the various people he mentions by name that he
attacks on his site.
That part escapes his pea brain.
He also claims to have many accounts all over the place.
Like techguy perhaps Roy?
Bwaaaaaaaaaaa!
The tinfoil gang claim anti-Linux people, posts, sites, etc are an
almost dead breed because Linux has won.
Yea,,, right...
Of course they "suspect" these people are being paid by Microsoft etc
to harm Linux.
Well if Linux has won, and anti-Linux "trolls" are a dead breed, why do
you idiots spend 3/4 of your podcast talking bout the subject?
Seems you are very nervous.
You should spend more time fixing desktop Linux.
That should keep you out of trouble for the next 10 years or so.
The slimey one indirectly compares himself to PJ and Groklaw.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
That's a good one.
Next he'll be telling us he's getting a bust on Mount Rushmore.
...and so it goes.
You know where to find the garbage.
I won't seed Google for those idiots anymore than I have to.
Just make sure and scan it for viri before running it.
Slimeyboy has so many enemies, who knows what's been injected on his
sites.
Oh, the in the break is pretty good.
The ending bumper music is pure noise.
Sounds like something an aging, overweight bald man might like.
Looks like this in Protools 9:

you lieing when it so easily disproved?

What has FF lies, if they are, got to do with any MS "advocacy"? Are you
mad or merely paranoid?
Like FF said: "the paranoid cracked pots have out done themselves" and still
do, Goobler is wearing a tin foil stetson, I'm sure!
http://techrights.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/techbytes.jpg
Ah...my secret is out, although the stetson is leather its only the
lining that is tin foil....... ;)
I should really also make a comment about the title of this thread......
"Techloons" is not doing it for me...... I preferred the original
(attempt at an insult) by someone who sadly hid their identity
(otherwise I would have happily credited them) Their name for the show,
which displayed humour and quick thinking was simple:
"Brokeback Bytes"
Even my wife laughed at that.
Go listen to the episode 38 for yourself.
It's right there on line, assuming Goobler didn't edit it.
Doesn't matter I have a local copy.
Go listen to the episode 38 for yourself.
It's right there on line, assuming Goobler didn't edit it.
Doesn't matter I have a local copy.
Everything I said was true and the fact the tinfoil helmet losers are
recording an episode so quickly after the last one is further proof that
they know it.
Get ready for them to try and explain it all away.
IOW "this is what I really meant etc".
They are kooks.
And if they can't take the criticism, stop dishing out the paranoid
bullshit.
Edit it? lol...
Why don't you post "your copy" and then people can decide.
Fancy quoting some of the times that I say the things you claim?
Better yet, fancy explaining why (if what you say is true) I would make
those statements, publish it online and then subsequently edit it?
What sort of world do you live in Flatfish?
In the meantime to everyone else, please feel free to listen to the audio:

I really don't know how you expect to get away with that lie Flatfish.

Why not ask him to point out where I am making up lies.

didnt)

I'll leave it there Flatfish, but we do address your claims in Ep-39

I wonder what you will claim Ive said in EP-39, published and then

Techbytes eEpisode 38 around:
1:23:17 and on
Slimeowitz:
"They try to justify me criticizing Microsot to them running a campaign
against one person".
Want more?
Of course not.
He's going to blow smoke all over the place claiming that's not what he
really meant.
Techbytes Episode 38 1:28:25 and on:
Something like " The reason we don't see flame wars, Linux sucks etc
because the trolls gave up because they lost interest against fighting
when Linux succeeded" (Paraphrased)....
Is he kidding?
BTW that's another one of Slimeowitz's attempts at re-writing history.
The Scottish guy is Gordon.
He used to be reasonable but lately he is drinking the Kool Aid with his
Scotch and going paranoid.
Yea.
Notice how fast episode 39 came out.
He will squirm and dodge and try and defend what he said.
But it's all there in episode 38.
No "damage control" listen to ep39...see for yourself.
You know full well there has been no editing, thats why your claims are
rubbish and anyone who listens to 38 can hear that for themselves.
Like I say Flatfish, good try.
say it ain't so... the piece of crap Gooblin was caught lying again?
Good job flattie!
Yep.

Flatfish claims Ive edited it and that he has an "unedited" version. Go

what I ACTUALLY SAID.
Like a say Flatfish, not even a good attempt.

Its a simple one to disprove and if anyone had any doubts about the
tactics some will use here, they can merely listen to the episode and
hear for themselves.
And people can see that for themselves by listening to the show.

People can listen for themselves:

Yep of course. I suppose if anyone buys into the lie. Having said that
anyone who is interested will listen to the show and see who the liar is
I did listen to that section (around 1:08). Someone with a strong
English accent says:
"I had a Twitter account called Microsoft Legal... which was obviously
fake... I hadn't even gone to the effort of making a logo... etc"
Is that you, Goblin?

Not to mention the fact that Roy screwed it up.
They all sound horrible.
Like they are under water.
That might be my fault.
It's difficult to understand the idiot.
Basically he is saying that him attacking a large company like Microsoft

It sounds horrible.
And of course Gooblin tries to pull a fast one by changing what he said
in episode 38 concerning fake accounts.
They are all slimy.
Firstly, they may not listen. So what? And secondly if anyone actually
listens to the conversation they will easily see that Flatfish is just
misquoting it completely...Let me help though, since Flatfish seems
rather reluctant to post the link to the show:
http://techrights.org/2011/04/11/techbytes-episode-38/
and the article I wrote at the time (2009):
http://openbytes.wordpress.com/2009/03/06/a-compliment-or-an-insult-you-decide/
Better yet, why not contact Microsoft, let them listen. If they agree
with Flatfish then they can sue.
How about that?
Am I worried? No. I didn't make the claim Flatfish is saying. Of
course you can quote a couple of words of a sentence/section and make it
mean anything, thats why Im happy for people to listen and judge for
themselves, thats why I would encourage you to send it to Microsoft, see
what they think.
Willy was right.
Flatshit is a known liar and a mentally-ill asshole, while Goblin is a
credible advocate who provided links to prove his case.
From this, we know with near-certainty that Flatshit is lying, even
without following the links.
Why should anyone waste time researching the claims of pathological
liars like Flatshit?
--
"You hypocrites are all for choice as long as it's the same choice you

Cheers Chris. Of course unlike Flatfish I am happy for my views and
posts to be researched and checked. Honest held belief in Linux being
the best solution for me is my basis. As for Flatfish et al...who knows
what their basis is.
One things for sure though, I am not alone when I say that the Flatfish
type behaviour is what causes so much advocacy of alternatives. If it
wasn't for similar people to Flatfish over on Microsoft-Watch all those
years ago, I would never have created Openbytes started an audiocast or
even become involved in deploying Linux to others.
People like Flatfish make it personal. That merely strengthens the
resolve of Linux users or any user of an alternative to Microsoft.
Because of the actions of people like Flatfish, when you do have a
person who genuinely likes a Microsoft product, they are viewed
immediately with suspicion. This can be seen on so many forums around
the net and I don't just mean by Linux users.
Of course its too late now for them to backdown and Im not really sure
if they care about Microsoft products at all..
The one thing they do care about though is Linux. Thats why you have
Flatfish with his pencil at the ready, waiting for the next Techbytes show.
I suppose its a compliment.
Kind regards
Tim.
Listen to it again, listen to the part where I said "it hadn't even
gone" or the bit where I say I wasn't frightened by it, or the part
where I mention that I wrote about the account at the time on my blog.
If you quote it incomplete like you have then it sounds very different
to hearing the whole conversation where Roy starts the subject.
Listen to it:
http://techrights.org/2011/04/11/techbytes-episode-38/
Any your point being? I don't keep up to date with Roy's posting of IRC
logs but I assume the last few days are already up....
It doesn't really matter anyway, Im sure Flatfish will just make up
facts to fit what he wants to say.

Hell, even if Goblin had not responded at all, I would *still* assume
that Flatshit was lying.
The same with Larry's attacks on advocates, which are almost *always*
based-upon a lie.

Sorry dude.
I provided links and they aren't lies like Goobler's.
Go ahead and listen for yourself.
Or maybe you are too afraid that you will have to admit I am right and
Goobler is squirming.
You don't post the links, you just make a claim about squirming. Let me
help you by repeating the last post I replied to you on where yet again
you give no links:
Why are you not posting the link so people can hear the entire conversation?
http://techrights.org/2011/04/11/techbytes-episode-38/
I want people to listen to the whole piece and they can also read about
"microsoftlegal" when I wrote about it in 2009 (the subject in discussion)
http://openbytes.wordpress.com/2009/03/06/a-compliment-or-an-insult-you-decide/
Why are you not posting those links with your claim....?
And unless I have a time machine to go back to 2009 and write a post
about something I am going to talk about in 2011, how am I squirming?
Better yet, why not just report it to Microsoft. If you are telling the
truth then theres plenty there for a damages or takedown or both.
Like I say Flatfish, good try.

I turned the volume up very loud and listened to that section several
times, and it's still not clear to me what you said. It sounded like
you said "I had a Twitter account" and "I didn't create a logo" and "I
was frightened" and maybe something about no articles for two months.
Your accent is very strong, and you talk too quickly, and you didn't
enunciate some words clearly enough.
Next time give us a written transcript - where the discussion is
organized by topic - so there's no chance for confusion and nobody has
to waste their time listening to/reading the whole thing (not that I did
- I would never waste 1+ hours listening to Linux morons spew their
frothing idiocy and paranoia).
And what's up with Spamowitz's accent - is he from Turkey or something?
Oh right. Well I would hope there are others with better equipment.
But if you are unsure, why not report it to Microsoft. If you are right
then they certainly have a case.
In the meantime, you didn't say if you heard the bit where I say it
didn't frighten me...?
"Next time give us a written transcript"
Fair point actually, but none of us have the time and in anycase it
wouldn't stop flatfish from making up a similar claim.
RE: Roy's accent. I'm not sure where it is from but I don't believe its
Turkey. I will ask him and let you know.
On a final note, you make a valid point:
"I would never waste 1+ hours listening to Linux morons spew their
frothing idiocy and paranoia)."
No and neither would anyone else. If you listen to the show theres a
whole host of products discussed and its not limited Linux, infact of
late the topics have more centered around copyright....as for paranoia -
thats what the tin foil lining in my stetson is for. I don't get
paranoid anymore, they can't hear my thoughts..... ;)
Techbytes 38
Hear it at 1:07:50 and onward. Goblin says this at 1:08::07
"...I had a Twitter account which was called "Microsoft Legal" which was
obviously fake...etc"
IOW Goblin set up a fake account, which is what I accused him of in the
OP.
He's a bull shit artist who doesn't like getting caught.
Another control freak like the Slimy one.
If so, you should rent it from them and make a good recording.
> But if you are unsure, why not report it to Microsoft. If you are right
> then they certainly have a case.
They definitely have a copyright or trademark case against a false
'MicrosoftLegal' account on Twitter, but it's not worth their time.
See, they're a big, successful business, and they don't have time to
follow every putz around - else liars like you and yours would have been
out of business years ago.
> In the meantime, you didn't say if you heard the bit where I say it
> didn't frighten me...?
As I already said (look up), it sounded to me like you said "I was
frightened".
> "Next time give us a written transcript"
>
> Fair point actually, but none of us have the time
If you have the time to drive to a central place and make the recording
and put it up on a website, you have the time to make a written transcript.
> and in anycase it wouldn't stop flatfish from
> making up a similar claim.
If there is any confusion, it's 100% your fault for making a bad
recording, and not stating clearly "Somebody created a fake
MicrosoftLegal account on Twitter and followed me."
Instead it sounded like this to me "I had a Twitter account called
Microsoft Legal... which was obviously fake... I hadn't even gone to
the effort of making a logo... etc"
You need to speak more slowly, and speak into the mike, and enunciate
your words better, ie I'm sure my slight Southern American accent would
be misinterpreted if I wasn't careful.

Probably true. That's why no cola idiots have come to your defense.

Unfortunately, paranoia and idiocy defines the Linux "community".
Ok DFS, I'll leave it there. I'm sure there are some who will lap up
every attempt at an insult you make. (looking towards Flatfish here)
Ive been given an extra boost of enthusiasm. I only had the word of
other Linux advocates here that you trolls act in a dishonest way and
misrepresent people...that was until now when I experience it myself.
Unlike you, Ive got projects to work on and unfortunately I don't have
the time to be in COLA any more tonight. We're working on a video
version of TechBytes, Ive been invited to another audiocast to guest on
and Ive got more articles to publish...articles which whilst you call
"simpleton" seem to be liked by sites like Tuxmachines, Distrowatch,
Groklaw, Lloydlaw and many others who link to them.
Appart from your childish insults here, what have you got to show for
yourself? I think its obvious where the evidence of "simpleton" is.
I'll hopefully be following up on all the fun and games tomorrow....
Oh and I will ask Roy about his accent. It will be a great question for
the Q&A. You might not listen to it, but Flatfish will, he's quite the
fan and Im sure he'll tell you.
Kindest regards
