And I've told you before, you're too stupid to adjust for the number of
users when you start drooling with Google results or problem reports
about Windows.
Windows has approx 90x as many users as Linux, but I have NEVER seen a
problem category in which Windows shows 90x as many Google hits.
Nor have I EVER seen a Windows complaint involving /*6 to 13 major
issues*/ like I've seen in the Ubuntu forums.
Linux just works.

In your deluded mind.
The primitive, bumbling, amateurish Linux system requires a victim to
spend years learning hundreds of manpages, apps and utilities just to
duplicate the immense functionality found in two point-click Windows tools:
1. Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)
2. Security Policy Editor (secpol.msc)
Not to mention the hardware system requirements for a modern distro are
nearly identical to Windows 7:
Ubuntu Desktop Edition
* 1 GHz CPU (x86 processor (Pentium 4 or better))
* 1 GiB RAM (system memory)
* 15 GB of hard-drive space (or USB stick, memory card or external
drive but see LiveCD for an alternative approach)
Win 7
* 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
* 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
* DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Then there are the usual user-friendly obstacles that relegate Linux to
hobby status forever:
- any old hackjob "developer" can contribute
- poor documentation
- pre-1.0 releases are sent out for years on end
- 170+ "desktop" distros that have no reason to exits
- distros derived from distros derived from distros derived from distros
derived from distros
- entire distros developed and maintained by anonymous user names
- distros with 6-month fixed date release cycles
- cryptic config text files scattered all over
- no central store for config settings
- case-sensitive file names
- command line absolutely required at some point, and sooner rather than
later
- rude adolescent "community"
- 30 different file systems
- not one good native game
- ridiculously poor audio/video apps
- apps that have to be started from the command line
- learning how to install apps not in the repos
- theftware of ideas from Windows and Mac
- hidden .config folders
- device lists that include extremely obsolete technology
- package managers that give you no install options whatsoever
- majority of desktop users glom onto one distro Ubuntu
- desktop copy/paste gives different file modify dates from command line
copy/paste
- requires much more effort to learn and administer than Windows or Mac
MS is doomed.

The population is much better served by having an /enormous/ ecosystem
of apps, dev tools, games, hardware, 3rd party support, and
documentation for one OS.
