The co-founder of BN is not pleased with Schestowitz's shenanigans:

Quote:

I had visions of fixing the place up in the coming year, in terms of
itąs credibility, but I think itąs safe to say at this point that
itąs time for me to hop off the crazy-train too.

This all way-too-closely resembles "Fight Club" for me - when we had
folks in India being arrested over Novell protests, or whatever that
was, I really had to rethink where this was all headed.

I was recently invited to take a look through the archives, and
frankly - more often than not - the "peanut gallery" was/is right. I
havenąt spent nearly enough time here to properly guide the site in
the direction I wanted.

Lately, it seems the program is to eradicate all contrary opinion,
even those who are armed with facts, and to cajole and antagonize
them - accusing them of astroturfing or worse, all the while
ignoring their facts until they finally give up and leave, muttering
to themselves.

I wanted to take part in intelligent discussions on the
Microsoft-Novell deal and itąs subtle (yet severe) implications.
Guess Iąll have to go to slashdot for thatŠ So, just pull my pic
from the front page - leave my articles for the archives, although I
suppose this comment will not make it through the new censorship
policy.

Have a happy New Year to all, Iąm going away until after the 5th.
After that, perhaps I will stop in to see what yąall have done with
the place.

After, over strenuous objections from [H]omer, even Roy admits that he
slandered the wrong person, and co-founder Shane apologizes and calls
for the innocent person's name to be removed from the article, all Roy
does is put a line through the name:

Schestowitz was building up to his own Krystallnacht.

Schestowitz is a fraud and a nutcase. His castle is crumbling. No amount
of arse kissing from Chris Ahlstrom will sooth the buttslapping he will
be getting soon as more and more of his lies and distortions get picked
up on by more intelligent and thoughtful posters.

What's even more interesting is that Roy seems to have installed some kind
of referral blocker that blocks referrals from Gordon Michaels site for
things he doesn't want people to see. Apparently this is an effort to
prevent search engine indexing of the truth.

You can tell this by going to Gordon's website and clicking the links to
Boycott novell that include Shane's appology and criticism. They fail to
resolve. However, if you simply click in the address bar and hit enter,
causing them to lose their referral, they come up just fine. Yet somehow,
the things that do not contain admissions to Roy being full of shit seem to
resolve fine with referrals.

Not very nice Roy. What's next? Filtering requests sent to Google search
bots to remove anything you don't want people to be able to see?

Yes, Only the the things he wants people to know.

Although days late, an apology and a removal of the article would go a
long way.
