It works like a champ on Debian 8.8. The packaging gives the usual
software requirements for Windows and OSX, and also lists Linux Kernel 2.6.
Imagine that. They expect someone picking this thing off the rack in
Walgreens, as I did, to know what Linux Kernel 2.6 is. Weren't we told
time and again that no one knows what Linux is, let alone uses it?
It's flaky on Windows 10 though. Running driver update gives the usual
useless "the best driver is already installed," "check the
manufacturer's website."
If it's on Verbatim's site, it's well hidden. There own search engine
never heard of model 98122.
I'm wary of third party driver sites. I emailed their tech support for
a driver.
