DOS app doesn't see entire directory listing on Win98 Server

Hi,

I have just installed a new server running Windows98SE. I have installed
LANtastic 8.0.

I run a DOS POS system that is critical to my business. Everything works
fine with this DOS app when running on an XP station (running LANtastic
8.01), but when running on other stations (Win89, DOS 6.22, and Windows 3.1,
LANtastic 8.0) there are issues with the DOS app's not being able to read an
entire directory listing from the server.
On any of these stations, DIR will show the entire directory listing.

The DOS app was working correctly just before I changed the server from
plain DOS 6.22 to a new box running Win98.

I appreciate any suggestions.
