I've used Lantastic 8.01 on Windows 2003 Server with no
problems..other than the file c:\windows\system32\printui.dll gets
changed to MPrintui.dll by lantastic after you install a printer. Just
navigate to the c:\windows\system32 directory, find the MPRINTui.dll
file, and rename it to printui.dll and your printers will work again.

There's also a legendary speed problem where XP won't will read from the
network at reasonable speed but won't write to the network properly - at
about 5% of expected speed.

I found that running Spybot's file-shredded facility brought the speed back
up to reasonable, and I now run a similar program in a batch loop as a
background task in XP to boost the speed.

Not sure whether 2003 is the same - don't have access.

XP also has difficulty with some operations - like "md
r:\something\somethingelse" will fail (where r: was an NT box) - can't
remember the details, could have been long-file/dirnames involved, or if the
argument to md was too long... I keep to 8.3 naming in any case - removes
all the system-dependencies.
