Hi Everyone,

For many years, I have been using a directory program called Super Directory. It is much better than the plain vanilla CP/M 2.2 DIR command, in that it alphabetizes the listing, displays each file's size and summarizes disk space. I have the source code for a version dated 2/6/81 that says it was written by Bruce Ratoff. I thought all this time that the source matched the .COM file I was running. But just now I was looking at the code in ZSID and discovered that I am running version 4.5 with a date of 21AUG82. Does anyone have or know where I can get a copy of the source for this version 4.5?

Thanks for your help!

The only one I find is:
SUPERDIR.LBR 3456 10-25-93 by George Cary 1/14/82 4K Super Directory
| program (not SD.COM), which can show erased
| files, create a file of output.

What is the actual name SD.COM, SUPERDIR.COM, or ????.COM?
What is the file size?

The name on my copy of the program is SD.COM. However, I seem to recall renaming it a long time ago to make it easier/faster to type. The Source file name is SD-2#6.ASM. The COM file size is 3K. I have shared the source from my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_nX8y0otjDWTV9CYTRTWEZacnM

On the CP/M CD-ROM!

A good match witch sources:
SIMTEL/CPMUG/CPMUG085.ARK

SD-44.ASM 49000 29 Apr 84
SD-44.COM 2048 10 Feb 85
SD-44.DOC 14214 29 Apr 84

The changelog of the next higher version:
SIMTEL/SIGM/VOLS100/VOL121/SD-48A.ASM

* 21Aug82 Added newline after free space message since some buffered
* hardcopy devices won't print an incomplete line. Made hilite
* sequences, column delimiter, names per line and lines per screen
* patchable to avoid reassembly. Added $V option to display version
* number string. (4.5 - B. Ratoff)

If you need this version very hardly... :-)

Since the mods are not very big, it could be possible the reconstruct
the sources of this version by extending SD-44.ASM until the binaries
match.
