I have an Osborne 1, (tan case) with a Westwind 40M Hard drive and
a 1MByte RAM disk. The whole thing interfaces to the parallel port
on the Osborne. The hard drive enclosure contains the printer parallel
port. I have had no problems with this arrangement, which has been
running for nearly 10 years now.
As to where to get one now, I would imagine they are no longer sold new
but the company might be able to direct you to some used units. The
