Intel IPDS system. complete with extra external
disc drive. runs ISIS I used to use this system to
program EPROM's and it kept me in business back in the
mid-1990's you can write code on the system, and burn
it to EPROM, or use the system as an emulator to de-
bug other systems.

EPROM-programmer module 27-series.
EMV-51 8051 emulator pod.
8048-8051 ? programmer.
pair of 5-1/4 inch drives

box of floppy discs with original software for the system.
manuals for the system programmer emulator editor and Pascal
too I think...

WASN'T CP/M WRITTEN ON ONE OF THESE? IN PASCAL?
maybe a similar system...

(I can't remember, it was a while ago...:) )

Was all working last time I ran it up, you can see pictures
of the beast on my website www.qq22.net click on the
computers link, and then on Intel IPDS

If you're interested e-mail or 'phone me. this system is
a cool working piece of history! I may be able to deliver
if you are local. but otherwise You'll need to collect the
system, or arrange your own transport/packing.

located in Dartford Kent UK

(value??? make me an offer!)

CP/M was developed on a much older Intel system (MDS-800) and it was/is
written in PL/M. I have CP/M and other software for the iPDS on my site. I
am not sure what it can sell for it is always a market driven comodity.

That's what this thing has.. PL/M-51 As far as I can remember an
MDS 800 was a desktop system unlike this little IPDS which is
"portable" (the laptop of it's day no doubt!) Back in that
era I was using Mostek AID-80-F systems first running FLP-80 DOS
and after a short while CP/M 2.2

Still not quite right, there are several implementations of PL/M. PL/M-80
(8080) was used for CP/M, PL/M-51 is for a micro-controller (8051) PL/M-51
ran on the iPDS and was a cross-development system (thats one of the reasons
for the 40 pin EPROM socket).
