We are pleased to announce that the first official release of 386BSD will
be out this summer.

We are grateful for all of the help, encouragement, and fine work which
386BSD users, contributors, and sponsors have provided. Over the five
years we have worked on this project (and five releases later, going on
six), it has been a great privilege to work with so many creative people.

If anyone has questions regarding their work, or suggestions regarding
386BSD, please send us email. We always listen.

Thank you.

So what are 0.0 and 0.1?

perhaps bill wishes a few people to just hold on a little longer for 0.2
even the publicity can't save him now...

sinking to such vaporware marketing tactics! oh my!
