A new version of XForms, A GUI toolkit and builder for X, is
now available for testing. You can obtain the FreeBSD version from

ftp://bloch.phys.uwm.edu/pub/xforms/New
http://bragg.phys.uwm.edu/xforms

This version fixed several problems with the GUI builder as well
as problems with the toolkit itself.

What is XForms
--------------
XForms is a GUI toolkit and builder based on Xlib for X Window Systems.
It is a portable and efficient C library that can be used in
both C and C++ programs. The library works in all visuals and
depth (1-24) and comes with a rich set of objects such as buttons,
menus etc. integrated into an elegant event/object callback model
that allows fast and easy construction of X applications.

XForms is by far the easiest-to-learn and easiest-to-use system for
X GUI development. It comes with a tutorial and more than 50 demo
programs. You should be able to develop XForms based programs
within an hour once you go through the first a few pages of the
documentation and have run and read a couple of the demo programs.
Actually, you don't even have to write any GUI related code as
the bundled GUI builder will do it for you.

Daring to challenge the will of the almighty Leviam00se,
T.C. Zhao (zh...@bloch.phys.uwm.edu) had the courage to say:

Swell. Where's the source code.
