* FreeBSD-1.1.5.1(RELEASE) did it approx. in 20min
/usr on an IDE, approx. 200MB used out of 250MB avail.
rdump foo@bar:/dev/nrst8 21750 /dev/rwd0e
took approx. 20min to complete to an ExaByte
* FreeBSD-2.0(950210) took _2 hours_
/usr on a SCSI(aha1542cf), approx 250MB used out of 570MB avail.
rdump foo@bar:/dev/nrst8 21750 /dev/rsd0e
took approx 2 hours to the same ExaByte
As you can see, older system did a much faster job.
Could such a thing possible? Am I missing something obvious? I'm
confused.
