Computing Adventure is a unique kind of e-book on a CD that both demonstrates
and explains how computers work. It covers all the important basics. Its
language is intended to be so clear and simple that ordinary people can
actually understand it. And there is a unique demonstration exercise (the
'adventure') that should be fun to do. The exercise makes the readers play the
roles of a computer's circuits and makes them follow simple computer
instructions stored in the pages of the book just as real circuits follow the
instructions stored in the locations of a computer's memory. Readers will
know exactly how computers run programs because they will have done it
themselves.

The book is intended for people who would like to understand computers but do
not want the aggravation of digging the information out of normal computer
books (including the 'simple' ones). That includes people who are just
interested, people who, for some reason, need to learn how computers work, or
those who plan to go into the study of some computer field and need to be
introduced to all the basics on an uncomplicated level. People who would
appreciate a book that will give them the understanding they want as well as a
pleasant read. No comparable books have been found.

For much more information, see the Website www.ComputingAdventure.com.

The site can be used to order the CD. Price: $14.00 USD.
