SPSS Announces Windows Version of Stat Software;
Offers Ease of Use, Integrated Graphics, More Statistics

Chicago -- May 4, 1992 -- SPSS Inc., leading supplier of statistical data
analysis software, announced today a new version of its software for
Microsoft Windows. SPSS says that the new SPSS for Windows will make
statistical software useful to a wider audience. SPSS for Windows will
ship in late June 1992.

The list price of SPSS for Windows Base system is $695. An introductory
price of $395 is available until September 30, 1992. Site licensing,
network licensing and academic pricing are also availble. Additional
modules are planned for release throughout this year with the first,
Professional Statistics, shipping in June with the SPSS for Windows Base
system.
