Galapagos Software, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of our new
product Adaptive Object Storage SDK for Win32.

The Adaptive Object Storage SDK is a C++ programming library that implements
a very flexible object storage system that can be used as a low-cost
replacement for existing object storage systems. The advantages of using the
Adaptive Object Storage system include a flexible data model that supports
changes in data and relationships after product deployment, a non-invasive
application object save and restore mechanism that doesn't affect the
application's class hierarchy, and an efficient file format that supports
stream-mode restore of data for responsive Web applications.

Some more features found in the product are as follows:

* Supports Windows 95 and Windows NT (v3.51 and v4.0)
* Compatible with Microsoft Visual C++ 4.2 and Borland C++ 5
* Supports sets of attributes (name-value pairs) as an intrinsic object:
* attributes are saved and restored automatically
* large values can be retained on disk until needed
* can be mixed with application-defined C++ objects
* allows one and two-directional links between objects, with either
floating point weights or numeric identifiers on the link; links are
saved and restored automatically
* Internet-friendly:
* application can have access to most data before file is fully
restored
* supports push-mode restore model that is more efficient with
network programming
* Multithread safe
* Supports multiple databases open at one time

Introductory price is $200. There are no runtime royalties. Source
code is not included. Free evaluation product is also available.
