I am interested in any software, commercial or freeware, that would
help me successfully enlarge thumbnail images. I want to make them
look GOOD, too. Are there any software titles that would help me do
this? please let me know..

All programs like Photoshop etc can resize images, but thumbnails
are small, there are not many informations, all you can do is to
"smooth" ("blur" or whatever) the bigger image to get rid of the
stairs.
