Hello
I hope some one can help me out.

One of my co-workers here has just been given a PC card.

The card is pluged onto a VGA display card via the feature conector.

IT has the SONY logo on it and a part No. SMI-3081.

We presume its a vidio overlay card ?.

Do any of you know what it is and if it would be worth tracking down
the software for it.

If it is worth using do you know whare I can get in touch with SONY (UK)
to get hold of the software ?.

Thanks in ADV.

Darren Brown.

Yes, it is a video overlay card. I first used one in 1988 to be
able to overlay graphics on video from a laser disc player. It
will work in 648x480 and will show graphics only, video only or
both (chromakeyed). Since then, I've gone all digital.

Only you can determine if it's work the effort to track down the
software/documentation. Got a use for it?
