Hi,
this is what is going on:
1. I boot my NT workstation into DOS without use of any floppy.
2. I run my data capture program using DOS.can be done in WinNT.

Now, my question is how i may share the directory c:\\mydir\\mydata
so that my remote NTserver can see the contents of c:\\mydir\\mydata
as they are generated.
r.

so you can with W98, but a _lot_ of stuff doesn't work. i cannot
access my cdrom from Dos 'Mode'.

slow down, see if you can ping any other host before you worry
about mapping. i bet you will manually have to configure your
network and hope you can get everything to fit in that dos memory
image.

good luck,

try this page

www.wown.com

i can't reach it at the moment, maybe it is down. if you still can't
reach it maybe this mirror is down, try searching in google for "world
of windows networking". the page is about windows (in all flavours) and
dos networking.

Coz you need a driver and the MSCDEX file.
