i am not sure you can, certainly not w/o additional drivrs &
software. this was the service provided by Novell, Netware,
remember?
the only way i know is wiith NetwareLite or the DR-Netware
Dos realease(s) of some years back. there are free utilities,
Clarkson.edu being the most notable, and Winsock, which
will allow telnet and ftp.

Make sure that your computers primary boot device is the floppy drive.
A network bootdisk can be created in Netware 4.X, NT4, and 2000.
Once logged onto the server, you can use net use <drive letter>
\\computer\sharename (for NT) or MAP <drive letter> =
<volume_name>/directory. (Netware).

^ How may I map a drive under msdos.
The answer is simple. Pick a single newsgroup, the most appropriate, and
ask again.
Frank
To map the drive. Use this command.
NET USE B: \\ip.of.machine\foldername
You can use any drive letter not currently being used.
NET USE B: /delete
Will disconnect the mapped drive.
