msconfig windows 2000

Please help me out here, I am trying to run msconfig on
my system but for some reason cant.. I am running windows 2000 professional

i hope somebody answered you by now. Windows 2000 does not use the
msconfig utility. There are other programs out there that will help
you get rid of those programs at startup. otherwise, you can directly
edit the registry to get rid of those programs.

1- click on start, run and type regedit
2- expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, MICROSOFT, WINDOWS, CURRENT
VERSION
3- you will see a folder called RUN. click on RUN and you will see
all of the programs that start up with your computer.. just highlight
the values and press delete.. after you reboot, you shouldn't have a
problem..

u could take a look at ur HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, MICROSOFT,
WINDOWS, CURRENT VERSION, RUNONCE [runservice ,runonceservice ]

and i think u would find sth. u wanted to del from there.
