I'm trying to create and then restore drive images created by Powerquest's
Drive Image Pro Version 4 in Windows 2000. The problem that I'm having is
that the SID ( Security ID) is being altered when restoring the drive image.
Since I'm using this tool as a backup and restore device and want to restore
on the same computer and drive,is there a way to disable the SID Changer
that takes place during the restore process?

Is there a better software package that has the ability to save images and
completely restore them including the SID?

Thanks for the help!

Never used Drive Image Pro. You can use Norton Ghost. Version 6.5 Enterprise
and earlier doesn't change the SID in Win2000.
