Apple ID, And Password

Hi,

Bought a new iPad Air as gift for kids.

As I thought I would help them set it all up, the chap at the store did
not put in any Apple ID, or Password.

a. So, now that the initial setup screens are all gone, where do I go to
insert the:

-Apple ID
-Password

Any caveats, or pretty straightforward ?

b. Might as well also ask: if in the future, how would one change the
Password ?

settings>itunes & app store and also icloud.

another way is just do a reset and set it up again. a bit overkill but
it also works.

same as above, or via <http://appleid.apple.com/>
