The bookmark to the manual has been standard on every iOS device I've
owned. I didn't put it there, and it doesn't appear in the synced set of
bookmarks on my Mac in Safari.
It is at the bottom of the main bookmark list, not inside one of the
folders (such as Bookmarks Bar).
There is also an "Apple" bookmark there, which I didn't create and
doesn't appear in Safari on my Mac. On my devices it goes to the New
Zealand version of the Apple home page.
My iPhone has also acquired a bookmark to the home page of my carrier
(Vodafone NZ), but my 3G iPad 2 doesn't have a corresponding one for its
carrier (Telecom NZ).
