Does anyone know what Android launcher has an option to put the icons in a
circle with the focus being one of the corners of the screen and with the
ability to "spin" the icons in a circle to get to any desired icon?

I was waiting in line when I saw the desktop of the guy in front of me and
asked him *what* desktop it was.

He didn't know - but said it was a $31 Android phone which he just bought
online which did it.

The icons were set in a quarter circle in the bottom right quadrant of the
screen, where he could "spin" them to get to all his icons (which were
automatically arranged in a circle around a "sun" icon in the bottom right
corner).

So, there was a yellow "sun" in the bottom right corner, and all the icons
were three or four levels deep (as I recall) where he "spun" the thing to
get to the various icons, and it spun smoothly without hitches or screen
lag.

Does anyone know what launcher this was that has an option to put the icons
in a circle with the focus being one of the corners of the screen and with
the ability to "spin" the icons in a circle to get to any desired icon?

Sounds almost like the alternate desktop view of Motorola's old WinMo 6
device, their Verizon-branded Q9m. But that doesn't quite qualify as "a $31
Android phone", does it? Still: HTH. Cheers, -- tlvp

If it came with the phone you might not find it in the store for your phone.
But I've stumbled across things similar to that before. Don't recall
any of them. A quick look came up with CircleLauncher, Circle SideBar,
Easy Task Launcher, Honeycomb Launcher, Smart Launcher 3...

Thanks for those suggestions, as I hadn't expected the word "circle" to be
in the launcher name, so I didn't search on that keyword in the name.

Here are the URLs to those suggested launchers:

CircleLauncher light By db-ware
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dbware.circlelauncher.light

Circle SideBar By Zeeshan!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zeeshan.circlesidebar

Easy Task Launcher By pacosal
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pacosal.easytask&hl=en

Honeycomb Launcher By Launcher Apps
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.honeycomb.home

Smart Launcher 3 By Smart Launcher Team
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.flowerfree

None look like the one I saw, but the closest is the Easy Task Launcher, at
least upon first inspection, so I'll try that one first.

Thanks!
