I have an Samsung Galaxy S5 with 32G SD card.
I have videos on the SD card.

I was cleaning up and found that the phone storage was nearly full with
.lvl files that seem to be segments of the video files on the SD card.

What are they doing there?
Can I just delete all the .lvl files?
How do I stop all this clutter from being created?

I might guess they're some kind of preview files of your videos.

One assumes they didn't come with the phone so it'll probably keep
working without them. YMMV, caveat emptor and all that though.

Maybe by using a different video player? Or if they're all in a
convenient folder then removing the folder and replacing it with an
empty file might do the trick.

I was disappointed. I only had 300K there.

I can store the actual photos to the *external* sdcard.
