In another thread, the sub topic came up of how horrid the privacy of
Chrome was, particularly perniciously given that we're on Google's Android.

Is anyone on this group using the Avast Security Browser?
o It's apparently based on Chromium (based on the GUI & settings)

I installed it on Windows (which was a piece of shit installer)

I could have installed it on the iPad, but I test mostly on Android nowadays.
o It tries damn hard in the beginning to prove I need to pay money

But let's see (over time) what the freeware does
o That is, we need to find out if it's crippleware, or just limited freeware.

It's easiest to test on Windows, so I'll test that before Android.
o It's basically the same setup as Opera VPN Browser (it seems).
